NICHOLAS RANDALL

Nicholas has been creating and performing music for over 15 years, with a focus on piano, production, and songwriting. His journey began with classical piano lessons as a child and was shaped by a love for the diverse music his family enjoyed, including jazz, classical, Latin, and world music. Over time, his interests expanded to electronic dance and ambient music, ultimately leading to his passion for jazz, funk, and R&B, which he now performs with his band, Boomerangatang. Nicholas has also spent over a decade composing music for independent video games, with recent experience in technical sound integration. 

 

As a teacher, Nicholas is dedicated to inspiring young musicians by focusing on the stories they want to tell through music. His lessons blend essential music theory with practical skills of playing with other musicians in an ensemble. Whether guiding students through the pieces they want to learn, helping them compose songs, or introducing them to music production techniques, Nicholas creates a fun, supportive environment where students can thrive. He also offers lessons in video game music composition and production for those wanting to level up!
