KRISTY VU
Piano
A current undergraduate student at Loyola University Chicago getting her BA in Music-Jazz Studies (ex. 2027). Originally from Seattle, WA, but currently based in Chicago, IL. She’s currently under the musical instruction of Lara Driscoll (piano) and Chris Madsen (saxophone) and has gained experience playing with her fellow peers.
Kristy has experience in many diverse genres such as pop, jazz, classical, etc. allowing her to assist each of her students' musical needs and interests. Kristy values encouragement, patience, and confidence in her approach to bringing the best in her students.
She believes that growth happens when students feel supported yet challenged -- by creating a safe and inspiring learning environment helps students develop not only their musical skills, but also their creativity, self-expression, and love for music.
