Katelyn is an elementary general music teacher with a passion for inspiring young musicians. She earned her degree in Music Education from DePaul University in 2020. Her diverse instrumental background helps her create a dynamic and engaging learning experience for her students.
Katelyn’s primary instrument is the trumpet but she can play multiple instruments including the piano, guitar, saxophone, bass guitar, and flute. She enjoys bringing a wide variety of instruments and musical styles into her teaching to help students explore, experiment, and find their own musical voices.
When Katelyn isn’t teaching music, she is often reading books in the park, riding her bike, or playing with her cat Ellie.
