DAVID KROUWER

David Krouwer is a guitarist, composer, songwriter, performer, and educator from Downers Grove, IL. With over 20 years of experience playing guitar, he has been involved in a variety of musical projects over the past two decades.
David attended college at the University of Iowa, where he studied various subfields within the humanities. After graduation he continued on with his studies, earning him two masters degrees in religious studies and archaeology from Denver University and Tel Aviv University, respectively. Throughout the course of his studies he continued playing in bands, as well as writing and producing his own music with his home recording gear.
With a wide breadth of musical interests, David has written and performed music from a plethora of genres including classic rock, pop, alternative, punk, ska, indie rock, metal, and classical. He’s currently in two bands and gigs regularly around the Chicagoland area.
