Alex Sopala

Alex Sopala is a rock and metal guitarist and bassist with expertise in audio engineering, mixing, songwriting, and orchestrating. Alex is a graduate of the Berklee College of Music in Boston, where he received a Bachelor of Music in Music Production & Engineering as a guitar principal. He has written, recorded, mixed, and mastered original material as well as projects from other artists. He has performed with New York City-based punk and metal bands, and mixed and mastered multiple albums and singles.

 

Alex has been a musician since he was a child, starting with piano at 8 years old and moving to guitar and bass at 12 years old. He has taught guitar and bass since 2014, for adult and youth private lessons, camps, and after school programs. Alex is a patient teacher and likes to meet his students where they are musically. Alex is excited about passing along his love of music and personally understands the impact that music education can have on a young person’s development and life.
